About us
Creators for Europe United:
We are authors, musicians, actors, filmmakers, photographers, illustrators, composers, designers, architects, journalists, translators, artists, producers, publishers and representatives of the media and cultural industries form all over Europe.
Europe is not just a continent and a political union. It is a promise of freedom, diversity and cooperation across borders. This promise has inspired artists, creatives and visionaries for centuries – and it has made Europe a unique cultural force. Today that promise is under massive attack by political forces that want to weaken Europe, by states that want to divide Europe and by companies that treat Europe’s creative and intellectual heritage as a mere resource.
We, the creators in Europe, will not let that happen! We are the ideas, voices, pictures, songs and stories that bring Europe to life. Our work is more than entertainment- it gives identity. Our culture is more than history – it is our economic strength, our future.
